Your coaches and qualified markers are running an in house short course on the basics of marking. Aimed at beginners and improvers the objective is to give you the basic knowledge and skills to be able to mark a game in our internal competitions competently and with confidence. We will not be going into depth on the laws of the game however there are some basic rules you must know, this ensures marking is standardised at all clubs. Building knowledge of our sport will not only enhance your enjoyment of the game but ultimately lead to a stronger more engaged membership. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions on anything game/club related you are unsure of.
Bowling shoes or trainers are required as there are practical sessions on the green. Please being a note pad and pen. Dress code is mufti. Tea/Coffee and doughnut at the break. The course will run inside if its raining,
We will also have some fun during this light hearted event so please add your name to the list on the boards or via our FB page. Even if you feel you are doing things correctly there is always something new to learn.
