1. Website
How to access – via Google (or equivalent) log on to https://horleybowlingclub.org
Password? –
- No passowrd is reuired for much of the website that is open to the general public
- Member only pages do require a password, which is given to you upon joining
There is a wealth of information for all members, including our fixture list, competition results, and much more*. You can access the website on smart phones, tablets & PC’s.
2. Facebook
How to access – Facebook is a well known facility. You must be a user to access our group
Password? – Your personal Facebook password is reqired
Our Facebook group is designed for social interaction for our members, and friends of the club. You need to be on Facebook already. Then, search Facebook for ‘Horley Bowling Club’, click on ‘Join Group’ and wait to be approved. You can get Facebook on smart phones, tablets & PC’s.
3. Signal (2 groups)
How to access – SIGNAL is a WhatsApp-type application. You must be a user to access our group. Download it
Password? – Your personal SIGNAL password is reqired. When on SIGNAL apply to join our groups. Permission to join will be follow
i. (HBC Free 4 All)
This is a general chit chat group, and things like a request for a marker for a singles match.
ii.. (URGENT Bowling Messages)
This is a ‘a group that is designed for Club offivcials to post important [short notice] bowling alerts such as the closure of the green or an inter-club match cancellation. One-to-one conversations are DIScouraged to avoid unnecessary alerts to members who do not need to be messaged. Unnecessary acknowledgements to alerts are similarly DIScouraged
4. MATCH system (incl. Rink/Mat booking)
How to access – https://bowlssurrey.co.uk/login
Password? – You must ve registered on the MATCH system. click HERE to register (select item “1. CREATE a login to the MATCH system (if you are not already using the system)”

- can apply to play in any of the inter-club league or friendly matches
- have access to your internal competitions and Surrey County matches (if you have applied for them)
- book a rink or a mat

Here, you can ONLY look up the contact details of members. You need your PERSONAL login and password to access this. If in doubt, contact the Membership Secretary.
