Before the season start you will be asked what Club Competitions you wish to enter. An online form is circulated, and you respond via this.
Draws are made by the Competition Working Group prior to the start of the season, and from this a schedule is made up of opponents, and dates by which the game must be played.
This schedule will be displayed on the notice boards, and online, at the start of the season. The first-mentioned person/team, i.e., The Challenger(s) must arrange with The Opponent(s) a date and time for the match. They must also arrange a competent marker if it is a singles game. Three choices of dates must be given by the Challenger(s).
There are competitions which are ‘handicapped’ to encourage members to apply and have a go against our better players, and to learn from the experience.
Rules and formats of competitions are posted online.
